I draw a weekly comic strip for the newspaper I work at, called "Hanging On". It's set near the Grand Canyon in Arizona. For this new comic, I took two older characters of mine, Yipper Coyote and Angelica Jay (from my older comic "Out of Oakwood Forest"), and introduced them to a new cast of characters. I did this combination traditional/digital media painting for a special section in the paper which reprinted the first 40 comic strips all at once.

This is an older piece but it's still so gosh-darn sugary cute it can rot your teeth. :D I couldn't resist. Done in Painter, I believe. BTW, a big wave hello to all the familiar faces!
